A basic trike just doesn’t cut it anymore with new technological advances on their capabilities and designs. In an ever-changing world, the needs and wants of our children are a far cry from ours a generation ago.
Let's talk about the Razor FlashRider 360 1st.
1. Razor FlashRider 360
Pink, steel and black in colour, this trike is suitable for and loved by little girls. The modern and cool look is going to impress wherever she goes with her new ride on trike. It is small and lightweight and completely smooth to touch.
Its special features make this a must-have for little girls wanting to experience the drift mechanism and the thrill and excitement of spinning 360-degrees and sideways motions.
The rubber grip handle bards have a 3-piece crank and provide lots of stability and control for your child while riding.
The front wheel is a large flat-free tyre and designed for high impact. The rear tyres are caster wheels and allow for spinning and drifting in all directions.
Extra special capabilities
Using the inclined caster wheels, your child can go from normal riding along to spinning 360-degrees and sideways motions. Then they can pull the special spark bar to watch as the magical sparks fly and disperse everywhere.
With the constant motion and spinning your child will enjoy on this bike, you will need to insist on them wearing a crash helmet, knee and elbow pads. Protecting their heads is the most important thing to remember so if you only have a helmet then at least the most important part is taken care of. Supervising your child at all times when using this bike is highly recommended. Children under the age of four years old, should not be allowed to play on this bike. The maximum weight for this trike is 160lb.
Assembly and maintenance
Minimal and easy assembly is required for this model. Maintaining its spark bar capabilities is easy with the replaceable spark cartridge. Just replace once it is all finished and no longer gives sparks off during a spin. Store this trike in the garage and keep it dry to make it look fresh and brand new for as long as possible.
The only cons about this model is the fact it comes in pink limiting the choice of rider to girls only unless your son happens to like pink.
Now, let’s have a good look at the Razor Rip Rider 360
2. Razor Rip Rider 360 Caster Trike
This trike features Spiderman graphics on its exterior steel frame. It is clearly aimed at boy and Tom boys alike. It is in a classic Spiderman blue and red and looks extremely cool.
The fork designed steel frame is durable and strong making rough play no issue for its break ability. The new technological advances to the design means your kids can spin and glide into a drift.
Dual inclined caster wheels are the built into this model to allow for sideways, backwards and 360 degree spinning motions. The front wheel is a large flat-free and high impact tyre which means your little boy can safely experience the new motions and features of this upgraded version of the old-fashioned three-wheeler trike of the 1970’s.

Assembly and maintenance
The trike comes with instruction manuals for maintenance and needs minimal easy assembly. Storing the bike in side as opposed to leaving it to mother nature o take care of will ensure the trike looks and performs like new for years to come.
In comparison to the Razor flash rider 360, the Razor Rip Rider 360 can match all of its capabilities except for the sparks mechanism. This trike is a boy’s toy and the model doesn’t come is a girl’s version which is the only downside I could find.
In conclusion I prefer the first model for its spark mechanism and bright colours. But my son would say he loves the second because he is mad for Spiderman.
