How To Choose Best Power Wheels For Your Kids
Its not hard to see that the standard of Power Wheels is above that of many an off-road mini vehicle. But for those who are discovering and researching these products, we have listed some of the reasons that Power Wheels are the best choice for you and your children.
Built in lock breaks
Built in lock breaks for safe stopping. Without theses, your children can zoom off and crash into things or people unintentionally causing harm to themselves, the vehicle or whatever/whomever they bumped into.
Although this is a tiny version of a real car, your children are tiny versions of adults. We need to remember a little jolt to us can be like crashing a full-size vehicle for adults.
Remote control options
Many of the Power Wheels design concepts have a remote-control mechanism giving the parents total control over the direction, speed and stoppage of the vehicle carrying their precious little ones on-board.
All of the Power Wheels vehicles have speed options and settings. This means you get to judge how fast the vehicle should go depending on your child’s size, confidence and control capabilities.
All of the Power Wheels have been developed in style to appeal to children who will be using them. Using bright or realistic colours and vibrant patterns as well as popular cartoon characters on the body. Paying attention to the smaller things such as music, storage and LED lights, Power Wheels have thought of everything.
Value for money
Knowing these mini vehicles are designed to stay in one piece, you know they will last for the time your child wants to play with them. They are built to be bumped and banged about, so they don’t fall to pieces like some other brands.
Built for off-road action, the Power Wheels vehicles are ready to tackle muddy, wet and bumpy terrain. The wheels have suspension and the tyres are big enough to grip the road or grass even on a steep hill.
Kids love to play make believe, trying on Mummy’s shoes, or Daddy’s slippers let’s say. They also love to pretend to drive our cars and bikes. Imagine their little faces brightening up with excitement and joy when they see their very own mini version which, unlike make believe, actually performs as a real vehicle.

My Kids and Power Wheels
By: Lisa, CA USA
When my son turned 2 we got him the Kawasaki Ninja Quad for his Birthday. My son loved this thing more than anything else for years and years. In no time at all he was doing tricks on it – riding backwards and rarely hit anything.
I knew that he will make a great driver one day. My son is a big kid and when he got too heavy for that one we bought him the Silverado and he used that for maybe a year or so. My son is now 11 and he outgrew these at a young age due to his size. So he had upgraded to a ride on mower which we removed the deck from. So now that is what he uses to cruise the yard.
When my daughter turned 2 we got her the Barbie Jeep ,of course, and this was also a favorite for her as well. She cruised to music with her friends and her dolls all over the place. Now she was not as good of a driver as my son – she hit some trees. But now even she has out grown them, but I am not rushing to get her a ride on mower – I like my trees.
I think these Battery Operated toys are the best things and worth every penny. The only down side I would say is the batteries. I have replaced many batteries with them and they can be pricey. I would always have a spare charged, because there is nothing worse than there car dying in the middle of them cruising and having fun.
So take that into consideration.
Another Great Story!
Power Wheels – Not Just For Kids

'll bet you know about Power Wheels toys by Fisher-Price, but did you know you can modify them? You can take that Barbie Jeep, or that Jeep Wrangler, or even the Motorcycle, and turn it into the fastest one in the neighborhood. How do I know this? My husband did it.
What He Did ?
My husband got your basic Power Wheels Fire Jeep really cheap in the neighborhood one day. My son was 5 at the time, so you can just imagine how much he loved it.
After it broke a couple of times, my husband was inside the thing, trying to fix it, when he thought; Hmm, this doesn't look to hard, I'll bet you can modify these things.
He took a tour of the internet and found out that there were many people dedicated to doing just that. Modifying their children's Power Wheels. The only thing my husband has done to my son's at this point is change the gearboxes and put bigger motors in it.
You can give them extra batteries, you can find missing parts like grills and tires, it's amazing what you can do. Fisher Price doesn't recommend it, and you can't really find one website for the parts, but if you know where to look, you can change just about everything on your child's Power Wheels Vehicle.
